Gather everyone round the table
A big, detailed jigsaw is one of the simplest ways to spend an unhurried evening together. Here’s one we think is worth a look: The 60s, a 1,000-piece puzzle packed with the music of the decade.
Thick, sturdy board
Made on 2.25 mm board from 100% FSC-certified recycled material, so pieces hold their shape.
Made for sharing
A table-sized project (683 × 480 mm finished) that friends and family can drift in and out of.
Packed with detail
Hand-illustrated scenes full of small details to spot, which is what makes a jigsaw satisfying to finish.
Why a jigsaw night works
There’s no screen, no rules to explain and no winner. Somebody sorts the edges, somebody hunts for the sky, and conversation happens in between. You can stop for tea and pick it back up tomorrow.
A detailed, illustrated puzzle keeps that going: there’s always a corner someone recognises, and something new to spot each time you sit down.

A few puzzling tips
Never done a 1,000-piece jigsaw? It’s less daunting than it looks. Most people start the same way:
Questions
What’s the difference between the 1,000 and XL 500 versions?
Both make a picture of roughly the same size (683 mm wide). The 1,000-piece version has smaller pieces and takes longer; the XL 500 version has larger pieces, which some people find easier to handle. Both are listed at £31.00.
How much is delivery in the UK?
The retailer lists standard UK delivery at £3 with Royal Mail 48 Tracked, and £5 with Royal Mail 24 Tracked for orders placed before 10am (next-day delivery isn’t guaranteed, especially at busy times). The final delivery cost is shown at checkout.
Can I return it?
The retailer offers 30-day returns on items in their original, unopened condition – you contact them first to start a return. As a UK consumer buying online you also have statutory cancellation rights. See our Delivery & Returns page.
How big a table do I need?
The finished puzzle is about 68 × 48 cm, so allow a bit more than that for loose pieces. A puzzle board or mat lets you move it out of the way between sessions.
Who sells the puzzle?
The Original Jigsaw Co sells and ships it from originaljigsaw.co.uk. We’re an independent information site and don’t sell anything ourselves.
